Who this is for
Ascend Systems is for SMBs, local companies, and service businesses — not Fortune 500 IT departments. If you're still running on spreadsheets and group texts, we should talk.
Why demos, not hype
We'd rather let you click through working software than pretend we worked with Fortune 500 logos. Try the demos — then decide if we're a fit.
Every ASCEND product below is a working demo — not a mockup deck. Click in, assign a job, run an intake, or move an approval.
We build for operators with 5–50 person teams — dispatch, intake, scheduling, and internal tools. Not Fortune 500 consulting projects.
We show what the software does and how we scope builds to your budget. No fake logos, no inflated case studies — just systems you can try yourself.
Realistic builds
Four case studies at different scales — each with an interactive demo and a matching project in the client portal so you can see how staging previews and build updates look during delivery.
Illustrative example outcomes — your results depend on scope, adoption, and how your operation runs today.
28-person commercial GC · South Louisiana
Project managers approved subcontractor invoices through iMessage screenshots and email forwards. AP had no single queue, vendors called daily for payment status, and rejected invoices disappeared in text threads.

Oilfield services contractor · 85 field employees
Schedules lived in a shared Excel file edited by three supervisors. PTO requests came by text, timesheets were paper, and payroll export meant re-keying hours every Friday — with frequent cert and shift mismatches on pad assignments.

Regional logistics company · 38 trucks
Dispatch used a whiteboard and WhatsApp, maintenance lived in a separate spreadsheet, and drivers called the office for assignment changes. Leadership could not see which trucks were down for PM or which loads were unassigned without calling three people.

Multi-state oil & gas contractor · 240+ employees
Certifications tracked in one system, job tickets in another, scheduling in Excel, and compliance reports built manually for clients every month. Field supervisors could not see expiring TWIC or H2S certs before crews arrived at the gate.

What we build
We build dispatch boards, intake forms, automations, and internal tools for teams that need something working this quarter — not a slide deck about next year.
Dispatch boards, intake pipelines, and internal tools sized for teams of 5–50 — not bloated enterprise software.
Forms, document extraction, routing rules, and follow-ups that remove manual retyping and email chains.
One screen for jobs, fleet, pipeline, or KPIs — built for how your operation actually runs.
Stop copying the same data into three places. Get software your crew will actually open from a truck, dock, or job site.
Extras we often build alongside the main system.
Clear, credible web presence that supports your ops system — not a separate vanity project.

Industries
Pick your industry to see the kinds of systems we build — dispatch, scheduling, intake, and field workflows.
Process
We learn how your operation runs today — where time gets lost and what software or automation would actually help. First call is free.
A written plan with scope, timeline, and budget — so you know exactly what you're getting before work starts.
Focused build sprints — software, automations, and dashboards you can use in production.
We launch it, walk your team through it, and fix what breaks as real volume hits.
Early feedback
Anonymized notes from discovery calls and demo sessions — shared with permission. Not case studies; just what came up when we walked through their workflows.
We stopped rebuilding the weekly boat schedule in three different places. The charter demo is basically what we needed — deposits, captain slots, and customer updates in one screen.
Charter fishing
The dispatch board demo matched how our yard actually assigns crews. We didn't need another enterprise ERP — we needed something supervisors would open from a truck.
Construction
Permit sign-offs used to eat half a shift. The field workflow demo showed exactly how digital routing and audit logs could work across our locations.

FAQ
If you are still figuring out whether you need automation, a dashboard, or a full internal system, start here.
Small automations can be scoped quickly and built as focused releases. Larger dashboards or full ops systems are broken into milestones so you can test the core workflow before every edge case is added.
Yes. We build systems around your operation and keep the stack understandable. You are not locked into a black-box platform that only we can explain.
Usually. We can connect tools like Stripe, HubSpot, DocuSign, email, spreadsheets, CRMs, and custom APIs when those integrations support the workflow.
That is one of the most common starting points. We turn the spreadsheet into a structured workflow with forms, roles, status, notifications, and reporting.
We walk your team through the system, watch how it performs under real use, and refine what breaks or creates friction. Monthly support retainers are available when you want ongoing help.
Yes. The site is aimed at SMBs, service businesses, local operators, field crews, and teams that need practical software without enterprise consulting overhead.
Start with a system audit. We map what you do today, identify where time is leaking, and recommend the highest-leverage workflow to fix first.
Founder
Founder & Systems Developer
I'm Landon — I build software and automations for service businesses and local operators who are tired of doing everything in spreadsheets and group texts.
Ascend Systems started because too many good businesses are stuck retyping the same data, chasing updates in text threads, and paying for tools that don't talk to each other. I build focused software that teams actually use.
If it doesn't save hours, cut errors, or give you clearer visibility — we didn't build the right thing.
Payments & Partnership
Ascend Systems uses enterprise-grade payment workflows — invoices, contracts, ACH, and Stripe — so teams investing in custom ops software and automations feel confident from the first discovery call through delivery and ongoing support.
Understand your goals, systems, and timeline — no charge.
Clear scope, deliverables, and investment.
Signed contract with terms you can trust.
Professional invoice — pay securely to kick off work.
Development, automation, and launch with milestone updates.
We email you a secure payment portal link when your proposal is ready — not at first contact. Sign your agreement, pay your deposit via Stripe or ACH, and track build progress in your client portal once work kicks off.
Our main processor for credit cards, ACH bank transfer, Apple Pay, and Google Pay — fast, secure, and familiar to modern businesses.
Professional invoices for larger projects ($1k–$20k+). Ideal for oilfield, construction, logistics, and industrial clients who expect formal billing.
Clear milestones — no surprises. Structures adjust based on scope during your proposal.

Quoted monthly based on scope
Full-stack support for complex operations, fleets, and multi-system environments.
Monthly subscriptions are billed automatically through Stripe. Your signed agreement defines payment terms, scope, and ongoing obligations.
Subscriptions renew monthly on your billing date. Payment is charged automatically via card or ACH on file.
If a monthly payment fails or is not received, the subscription is cancelled immediately. Ongoing support, maintenance, and system access tied to the plan are suspended.
Failure to meet payment obligations, misuse of systems, or violation of signed agreement terms voids the contract. Ascend Systems may terminate service and close access without refund for the current billing period.
Cancelled subscriptions require a new agreement, payment of any outstanding balance, and approval before services resume.
All subscription terms are documented in your DocuSign agreement before billing begins. No hidden fees — clear scope, clear expectations.
Every project includes a signed agreement via DocuSign or Dropbox Sign — so expectations, timelines, and payment terms are documented before work begins.
The same tools trusted by modern operators — clean, auditable, and built to scale with you.
Built for trust: Operations-focused clients expect invoices, contracts, and ACH or wire options — not Cash App or Venmo. That professionalism matches how we build the systems we deliver.
We do not use: Cash App · Venmo · Informal peer-to-peer apps
